The Disposable Waterproof Camera: What to Look For
One of the best and cheapest options for taking photographs on vacation is to use a disposable waterproof camera. There are many kinds to choose from and they come in a range of styles, colors and sizes. They are very durable and are made to withstand a lot of knocks and scrapes.
As opposed to regular cameras you can buy, a disposable waterproof camera is a wonderful choice for any children in your group. They may seem to be heavy and awkward to use but in fact many models are lightweight and simple to work with. Several cameras of this type have been created particularly with children in mind. The controls are easy to master and so there is no complication in taking a photograph. Many have grips on them which are great for small hands, especially when wet.
Another benefit of a disposable waterproof camera is that it can take pictures whether it is in the water or on land. A lot of the models of waterproof camera cannot do this; the pictures that they turn out on land can be fuzzy and distorted. No matter where you are, the disposable option will be able to take great snaps all of the time.
Disposable waterproof cameras can be found on many websites and online stores on the internet. There are many options to pick from and many sellers give a discount if you buy in bulk. This may be worth considering if you have a large group going on vacation. That way everyone has their own camera to be able to take some unique photos that will be special to them. It is also a way to save some money and you could save further by qualifying for free delivery. Your order is usually dispatched within a few days and lands directly on your doorstep.
It is also possible to purchase a disposable waterproof camera or a waterproof camera in local stores and large shopping malls. Many railway stations, bus depots and airports also have stockists of these popular products.
After you have finished your vacation, all you need to do is remove the film and send it off for the photos to be developed. The case of the camera can then be put in the garbage; it is as simple as that! There are no wires and fiddly bits to mess around with and you do not have to spend hours cleaning a disposable camera like you have to with a regular waterproof camera.
Purchasing a disposable waterproof camera is a great way f saving both time and some of your hard earned cash. This may explain why it is a fashionable choice with many people going off on a relaxing trip. It takes the hassle out of getting stressed about higher priced equipment being damaged, lost or broken along the way.
You only need to pay a small amount to get a quality disposable waterproof camera and as a bonus you still get great quality snaps as you would do with a regular waterproof camera.

Do waterproof Camcorder's work well? And do they work well out of the water?
I'm going to Egypt in February next year and I intend to go scuba diving at Sharm El Shiekh. And I'd like to video it. I don't and never have owned a camera or a camcorder and I have no experience using them. So I don't know whether a waterproof camcorder is practical or not. I'd also like to video the rest of my holiday but I'm not sure if a waterproof camcorder would work very well out of the water. Could somebody give me some information or advice please? Thank you!
My experience with "waterproof camcorders" have mainly been with Sanyo units. However, I have not found the issue between units to be whether they work as well out of the water as they do in the water. Most have the exact same performance whether in or out of the water. What I mean by this is that their usable light levels, "jutter" control, etc work identically in both environments. The major difference I have found that varies between the quality of different units is their focus ability.
As far as worrying about bulk or extra weight? Don't. Most waterproof camcorders you find can be as slim as their non-waterproof counterparts. Some look bulkier but are not heavy. The extra "bulk" are air pockets designed into the casing of the unit to give it some buoyancy so if you drop it in the water it won't make a speed run for the bottom
The higher quality units I've used are much better in being able to switch their focus quickly and are not as susceptible to erroneously focusing on "water anomalies" such as light rays and such. So you will generally achieve clearer video with a higher-quality unit on what you actually want to shoot underwater rather than with a lower-quality unit. But out of the water it will perform as well, if not better, than it's non-waterproof counterpart.
The issue I find to be more important is ease of using features by touch while under water. Before you purchase a unit for yourself, attempt to use the more basic features such as zoom, start/stop record, etc buttons without looking at the unit. Are the buttons for each feature a different size or shape? Can they easily be distinguished by touch? If not you'll get easily frustrated underwater trying to read the labels on the buttons.
The HD GoPro Motorsport Hero is a top end digital mounted on-board digital camera. Used for mounting onto cars, ATVs, helmets, motorcycles, planes, snowmobiles, jet skis or really anything that travels too fast to let you use a normal camera.
For those who enjoy motorsports, you'll know that there are many moments where you pull off a cool bit of steering, or get some air going quickly over a bump, that make you feel like James Bond. Now we all like to be reminded of how James Bond we can be, and so to capture those moments on film would be a great thing to be able to do.
At the same time it's great to be able to capture the exhilarating feeling of roaring past fauna or dirt tracks and then share that experience with those who don't share your passion. Another point worth bearing in mind is that when you're actually driving or riding it can be difficult to know exactly what's happening. The world all rushes by so quickly and it's dependent on such split second decisions that you often won't really register on a conscious level what's been going on. Again a camera mount can help you to appreciate your own performance and to check out some of the scenery and details you might have missed.
Finally if you're getting ready for a race then you need to be training and honing your performance. Timing lap times will only do so much however – whereas the ability to look back at what you did and critique your own performance will give you a significant competitive edge. Seeing the lines you took round corners, your reaction times and your vehicle's performance all from an outside perspective can help you to do it better next time.
This is precisely what the HD Go Pro Motor Sport Hero specialises in. Allowing you to record up to 2.5 hours on a single charge (longer than any track most likely unless you really do need to improve your driving) and with an SD storage card for unlimited storage (the more you need the more SD cards you carry – one 32GB SD card could get you 9 hours). Of course the resolution is also top-notch, both spatial and temporal with quality up to 1080p recorded at 30fps or 720p at 60fps which makes the HD Go Pro Hero currently the highest performance camera on the market.
At the same time the sound is also perfectly honed to pick up the quiet details over the roar of your engine, and there are countless settings to choose from. If you want still photos you can set the camera up to shoot 5MP photos every 2-60 seconds for some stunning high-def images.
Then of course there's the durability. Protected from bashes and crashes thanks to a removable polycarbonate housing, waterproof up to 180' (60 meters) and with many replacement parts easily and cheaply available online; this thing will be able to survive and capture your worst moments as well as your best.
